  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any safety filters, content moderation systems, or security features of the Service.
  • Commercially redistribute, resell, or sublicence AI-generated content without prior written permission from SeeMe Learn.

  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of your account, for any breach of this section.

6

Intellectual Property

  • Your generated books: You retain ownership of books generated through the Service for personal, educational, and clinical use. You may share generated books with students, clients, and family members.
  • Your uploaded photos: Photos you upload remain your property. We use them solely for the purpose of generating personalised book content and do not sell, share, or licence your photos to third parties.
  • Our platform: SeeMe Learn retains all rights to the platform, underlying AI models, generation pipelines, templates, designs, and brand assets. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or a licence to our proprietary technology.

Commercial redistribution of generated content (e.g. selling books as a product) requires a separate commercial licence. Contact us to discuss licensing arrangements.

7

AI-Generated Content

SeeMe Learn uses artificial intelligence to generate text and images. While we strive for accuracy and quality, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inconsistencies. You should review all generated content before using it with children.
  • Generated books are educational tools, not substitutes for professional clinical advice. Social Stories and Emotion Stories are designed to complement, not replace, the guidance of qualified therapists and educators.
  • While our phonics books follow Systematic Synthetic Phonics methodology, we recommend that educators verify decodability against their specific programme requirements.
8

Privacy & Data

Your privacy is fundamental to everything we do. Our collection, use, and handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Australian data residency commitment: All child photos and biometric data are stored exclusively on Australian infrastructure (Supabase Sydney, AWS S3 Sydney), in full compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP). AI providers receive reference images at inference time only and never store biometric data.

9

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:

  • SeeMe Learn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, condition, warranty, right, or remedy implied or imposed by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other applicable Australian legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10

Termination

  • By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice before taking such action.
  • By you: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.
11

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

12

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or a prominent notice within the Service before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should discontinue use and delete your account.
